Plymouth rallies past Livonia Franklin for third straight win
By Ms. Deborah Edwards-Onoro | September 11, 2009
The Plymouth Wildcats boys tennis team extended their winning streak to three as they defeated Livonia Franklin 8-1 Wednesday afternoon, September 9, 2009. Junior varsity also competed, winning their dual matches 2-0.
The Wildcats varsity dropped only one singles point in their victory over the Franklin Patriots in Livonia (match photos).
While varsity players were competing in Livonia, the junior varsity had a rematch on home courts, dropping a 2-10 decision to crosstown rivals Canton Chiefs.
It’s wonderful to see the parents at the matches to support the team! We know how challenging it can be to attend matches during the work day. The team players love to hear your cheers!
The Wildcats return home on Thursday, September 10, 2009 for their match against Wayne Memorial.
